Spielberg, June 29, 2025 – The Europe Today: Nikola Tsolov of Bulgaria delivered a commanding performance at the Austrian Grand Prix, clinching his third win of the 2025 Formula 3 season. Racing for Campos Racing, Tsolov capitalized on his pole position start and led the race from start to finish at the Red Bull Ring, completing the 26-lap race in 36 minutes and 40.308 seconds.
Martinius Stenshorne of Norway, driving for Hitech TGR, finished second, trailing Tsolov by 6.646 seconds, while Germany’s Tim Tramnitz secured third place for MP Motorsport, crossing the line 8.721 seconds behind the leader.
Championship frontrunner Rafael Camara of Brazil (Trident) started from seventh on the grid and made an early charge to second place. However, he struggled to maintain his pace in the latter half of the race and eventually slipped to sixth, marking a setback in his title campaign.
With this win, Tsolov climbs to 114 points, just one point behind Camara’s leading 115. Tramnitz remains third overall with 90 points, now 25 points adrift of the top spot as the season heads into its final stretch.
The Formula 3 championship resumes next weekend with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, taking place from July 4 to 6, marking the seventh round of the 2025 calendar. With only four races remaining, the title fight is heating up between Tsolov, Camara, and Tramnitz.
