Fuzuli, July 3, 2025 – The Europe Today: Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, arrived in Azerbaijan on July 3 to participate in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), being held under the theme “New ECO Vision for a Sustainable and Climate Resilient Future.”
Upon his arrival at Fuzuli International Airport, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was accorded a warm welcome with a ceremonial guard of honor, reflecting the deep-rooted friendly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
The Prime Minister was received by H.E. Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with senior Azerbaijani government officials.
Prime Minister Sharif’s participation in the ECO Summit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing regional economic integration, connectivity, and sustainable development through active collaboration with ECO member states.
