Baku, July 09, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar on July 8 to discuss matters of mutual interest, including the outcomes of recent high-level interactions and avenues for deeper bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the two ministers reviewed key issues stemming from discussions between the leaderships of both countries during the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), held in Khankendi. They also discussed the current status of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan strategic partnership.
Both sides reaffirmed their unwavering support for each other’s legitimate interests in regional matters and pledged to continue close and mutually beneficial cooperation for the shared prosperity of their nations.
In addition to regional and bilateral cooperation, the conversation covered a range of international issues of mutual concern, underscoring the strong and enduring ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
