Tashkent, July 15, 2025 – The Europe Today: Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a series of productive meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies operating in key industries and high-tech sectors, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The meetings brought together executives from prominent Chinese corporations including Chison Medical Technologies, China Resources Pharmaceutical Group, Norinco, Hangzhou Miuge Chemical Commodities Science and Technologies, Xiamen Tungsten, Shandong Gold, Contemporary Amperex Technology, Great Wall Motor, Origin Quantum, and the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
“Our agenda focused on establishing mutually beneficial partnerships in every area, bringing advanced production facilities and top technologies to Uzbekistan, elevating the human capacity of our experts, as well as better integration into regional and global supply chains,” Minister Saidov remarked following the talks.
He emphasized Uzbekistan’s deep appreciation for the growing interest shown by Chinese businesses in tapping into the dynamic and rapidly developing Central Asian market.
Minister Saidov also expressed confidence that the agreements and understandings reached during the meetings will serve as a strong foundation for the launch and successful implementation of new joint projects.
The discussions are seen as a significant step toward strengthening economic and technological collaboration between Uzbekistan and China, especially in light of Uzbekistan’s ongoing efforts to modernize its industrial base and expand its presence in global value chains.
