Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Meets Newly Appointed Chinese Ambassador

Ashgabat, July 21, 2025 – The Europe Today: On July 21, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov held a meeting with Ji Shumin, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan, who presented copies of his credentials.

Deputy Minister Gurbanov extended congratulations to Ambassador Ji on his appointment and expressed Turkmenistan’s readiness to provide full assistance and support in the execution of his diplomatic duties.

During the meeting, the two sides held comprehensive discussions on further strengthening Turkmen-Chinese relations. They emphasized the importance of regular high-level contacts in enhancing political dialogue and fostering mutual understanding.
