Colombo, July 25, 2025 – The Europe Today: On July 24, 2025, Mr, Khalid Taimur Akram, the Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), visited the office of Professor Dr. Saleem Mazhar, the Director General of the National Language Department, Ministry of Culture and Heritage, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad.
The meeting focused on strengthening cultural collaboration between Pakistan and China through the upcoming international event titled “Art Weaves Us Together: Building a Shared Future”. This major cultural initiative is being organized by the Institute for a Community with Shared Future, Communication University of China (CUC). Mr Khalid Taimur Akram met Professor Dr. Saleem Mazhar on the behalf of Institute for a Community with Shared Future, Communication University of China.
It was mutually agreed that PRCCSF and the National Language Department will co-host Pakistan’s participation in the event. A curated selection of the finest Pakistani art pieces and calligraphy will be showcased at the grand event which will be held in September 2025 at Communication University of China in Beijing.
This event aims to promote artistic exchange, deepen cultural understanding, and highlight the unifying role of art in building a community with shared future. Both sides expressed their strong commitment to this collaboration and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations
