Iran Reaffirms Commitment to Nuclear Rights

Tehran, July 25, 2025 – The Europe Today: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has firmly reiterated the Islamic Republic’s unwavering stance on its nuclear rights, asserting that Iran will not relinquish its enrichment activities under any circumstances.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming negotiations scheduled for Friday in Istanbul, Minister Araqchi stated, “Tomorrow’s talks are a continuation of previous discussions, and the world must know that our positions have not changed — we will defend the Iranian people’s rights.”

He emphasized that in the aftermath of the recent conflict attributed to Israeli aggression, it is imperative for negotiating parties to understand that Iran’s position remains resolute. “Our uranium enrichment will continue; we are not giving up this right of the Iranian people,” Araqchi declared.

The high-level talks are set to take place at 9:30 a.m. local time on Friday at the Iranian Consulate General in Istanbul, with the participation of deputy foreign ministers from Iran, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. The discussions are expected to focus on key issues including sanctions relief and Iran’s nuclear program.

Minister Araqchi stressed that the forthcoming dialogue follows the same trajectory as earlier negotiations, with Iran maintaining a consistent and transparent position. “Our stance is strong, firm, and unchanged,” he added.

The meeting in Istanbul marks a renewed attempt to bridge differences over Iran’s nuclear activities amid heightened regional tensions and international scrutiny.
