Avaza, The Europe Today – August 6, 2025: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting on Tuesday with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the National Tourist Zone of Avaza, according to a statement released by the press service of the Kazakh President.
During the meeting, President Tokayev expressed his sincere appreciation for the invitation to participate in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), currently being held in Turkmenistan. He highlighted the significance of the forum as a vital platform for exchanging views and advancing practical solutions to address the unique challenges faced by landlocked developing countries.
The two leaders engaged in detailed discussions on further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including trade and economy, energy, and transit and transport. They underscored the mutual interest in deepening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration.
The LLDC3 conference, which has drawn the participation of global leaders, heads of governments, and international organizations, will continue until August 8, focusing on actionable strategies for sustainable development in landlocked developing nations.
