Abu Dhabi, August 9, 2025 – The Europe Today: The National Paralympic Committee has announced that Emirati athletes Ahmed Al Badwawi and Abdullah Al Balushi will represent the UAE at the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships, scheduled to take place in Belgium from August 24 to September 1.
The Secretary-General of the committee confirmed that the athletes are currently undergoing intensive training in the Principality of Andorra, where their camp will continue until August 23. This follows a prior training camp in Spain, held from July 15 to August 1, aimed at enhancing their readiness for the global competition. Both camps are being conducted under the supervision of coach Mohammed Al Marwi, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance at the championship.
