Osaka, August 13, 2025 – The Europe Today: The Romania Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka marked a major milestone this morning by welcoming its 500,000th visitor, 27-year-old Aoi Moriyama. The pavilion, among the Top 10 most acclaimed at the exposition, has captivated audiences with its blend of tradition and innovation, highlighted by events such as the concert of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra.
Moriyama, who revealed it was not her first visit to the pavilion or the Expo, expressed great joy at being part of the celebration. The event was virtually shared with her while several hundred visitors in the hall applauded the milestone. She was warmly invited to visit Romania to experience firsthand the traditions and innovations showcased at the pavilion.
The Romania Pavilion, titled “The Romanian Magic Box”, was designed by two Romanian students from the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest. Organizers say it stands as a strong cultural and creative statement for the “societies of the future.”
