Prague, August 18, 2025 – The Europe Today: Czech driver Jan Kopecký clinched his 12th career victory at the Barum Czech Rally Zlín, reclaiming his dominance on home soil and moving into the lead of the Czech national championship standings.
Driving for the Agrotec Škoda Rally Team, Kopecký overcame the disappointment of last year, when a puncture left him in ninth place and cost him the overall title. This time, his flawless performance secured a celebrated win.
Ireland’s Jon Armstrong finished second, while Italy’s Andrea Mabellini claimed third place, completing the podium lineup.
“We really worked hard to try to win Barum again, and it’s great that we succeeded,” Kopecký said following his victory.
