PM Anwar Ibrahim, BN Chairman Ahmad Zahid, and GRS Chairman Hajiji Noor Emphasize Unity in Strengthening Federal–State Cooperation

Kuala Lumpur, August 19, 2025 — The Europe Today: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor convened a meaningful meeting that was characterized by harmony, solidarity, and a shared vision for Malaysia’s stability and progress.

The engagement highlighted the maturity of Malaysia’s political leadership and reaffirmed their joint commitment to reinforcing cooperation between the Federal Government and the State of Sabah.

Prime Minister Anwar underscored that political stability is the cornerstone of development and national well-being. He stressed that close collaboration between federal and state leaders is essential to realizing the people’s aspirations inclusively and comprehensively.

Ahmad Zahid and Hajiji echoed these sentiments, noting that mutual trust and cooperation between Putrajaya and Sabah will help accelerate development initiatives and strengthen national unity.

The meeting was hailed as a strong demonstration of collective leadership, fostering a spirit of togetherness that is expected to contribute significantly to building a progressive, just, and prosperous Malaysia under the principles of Malaysia MADANI.
