Astana, August 20, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled to pay an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic on August 22 at the invitation of President Sadyr Japarov, according to media reports.
During his visit to Bishkek, President Tokayev will hold talks with President Japarov to discuss ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The two leaders will also take part in a meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the highest-level body overseeing bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and cultural spheres.
