Baku, August 24, 2025 – The Europe Today: On August 23, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
The two ministers discussed the Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral and multilateral agenda, touching on various aspects of political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as regional and international security issues.
They also exchanged views on the recent meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental State Commission on Economic Cooperation, which took place on August 2 in Astrakhan. Both sides commended the outcomes of the meeting, underscoring its importance in further strengthening economic collaboration.
In addition, the foreign ministers reviewed a range of other matters of mutual concern.
