Tehran, September 10, 2025 – The Europe Today: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has urged the Muslim world to unite in the face of what he described as the “recklessness” of the Israeli regime.
In a message posted on his X account, Araghchi stressed, “The only way to decisively address the recklessness of the Israeli regime is for the Muslim world to act in unison.”
He strongly condemned Israel’s attack on Qatar, stating, “Israel has heinously done what Iran would never contemplate: attacking the dear people and government of Qatar.”
Reaffirming Iran’s position, the foreign minister declared, “Iran stands with its Qatari and Palestinian brothers in the face of this illegal attack on urban residences used by civilian guests of the State of Qatar who do not pose a threat to anyone.”
Offering condolences over the loss of lives, he added, “We extend our sympathies upon the martyrdom of the innocent Qatari citizen and Palestinians in this vile assault, which also left civilians injured.”
Araghchi further underlined Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation to confront threats against international peace and security.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, expressed full solidarity with Qatar and denounced what it called the “savage aggression” of the Israeli regime.
The ministry emphasized the urgent need for the United Nations Security Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and other international bodies to take swift action on the matter. It also urged the global community and regional countries to implement concrete measures to restrain Israel’s “warmongering” and to stop the ongoing genocide in occupied Palestine.
