Baku, September 20, 2025 — The Europe Today: Azerbaijan will host the Third Baku Security Forum on September 21, 2025, bringing together representatives of intelligence and security agencies from a variety of countries to discuss pressing challenges to international peace and stability.
The upcoming forum aims to strengthen cooperation among security agencies, address the consequences of armed conflicts, terrorist threats, and humanitarian crises, and seek solutions to global risks such as technological disasters and ecological emergencies. On the other hand, it also serves as a neutral platform for dialogue among states with diverse political perspectives.
The Baku Security Forum was first held on May 3, 2023, with the emphasis on joint efforts to dismantle “proxy networks”. The second forum, organized on September 15, 2024, addressed challenges to global transportation networks and the safety of logistics systems. The third forum, which is due to take place on September 21, 2025, will further expand discussions on cooperation, conflict prevention, and crisis management.
By hosting the forum, Azerbaijan reaffirms its role as a key platform for international dialogue on security issues, contributing to both regional stability and global cooperation.
