New York, September 23, 2025 — The Europe Today: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto strongly condemned all forms of violence against civilians in Gaza during his address at the High-Level Conference on Palestine and the Two-State Solution, held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Monday.

“We condemn all acts of violence against innocent civilians. Therefore, it is today with dignity that we gather to take our historical responsibility,” President Prabowo declared.

With deep concern, he highlighted the ongoing tragedy in Gaza, where thousands of lives have been lost, including women and children, as famine looms and a humanitarian catastrophe unfolds before the world’s eyes.

Prabowo stressed that the conference represents a moment of historical responsibility, not only for the fate of Palestine but also for the future of Israel and the credibility of the United Nations. He reaffirmed Indonesia’s unwavering support for a two-state solution as the only viable path to peace in the Middle East.

“The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza must be our utmost priority. We must stop the war, overcome hatred, fear, and suspicion, and achieve the peace that is necessary for the human family,” he said.

President Prabowo also expressed Indonesia’s readiness to contribute to peace efforts, including by providing peacekeeping forces. “Peace, peace now, peace immediately. We need peace,” he concluded.

The conference was attended by leaders of 33 delegations, representing countries and regional organizations including the European Union and the Arab League.
