Jakarta, September 29, 2025 – The Europe Today: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Monday inaugurated the mass loan agreement signing for 26,000 subsidized homes under the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) scheme in Bogor, West Java.

The president was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Housing and Settlements Maruarar Sirait, and two beneficiary representatives.

The ceremony took place at the Pesona Kahuripan 10 housing complex, where President Prabowo symbolically handed over house keys by pressing a siren. Earlier, he also presented keys to 10 low-income beneficiaries from various professions, including domestic workers, farmers, teachers, the visually impaired, and members of the military and police.

In his remarks, President Prabowo emphasized the housing sector’s dual significance in fulfilling basic needs and driving economic development.
“Housing is essential, not only to meet the needs of low-income people but also as an engine of economic development,” he stated.

Reaffirming the government’s target of constructing 3 million homes, the president urged all stakeholders to work with determination toward achieving the goal.

The mass loan signing, organized by the Ministry of Housing and Settlements in collaboration with the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera), represents the largest subsidized housing initiative in Indonesia’s history. The 2025 target has been raised from 220,000 to 350,000 homes.

As part of the program, low-income buyers will benefit from incentives such as exemptions from land and building acquisition duties and value-added tax (VAT).
