Baku, October 2, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Qarabağ FC earned a 2-0 victory over Denmark’s Copenhagen on Matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League league phase at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Baku.
Abdellah Zoubir put the hosts ahead in the 28th minute, before Emmanuel Addai sealed the win with a second goal in the 83rd minute.
The result marks Qarabağ’s second consecutive win in the competition, giving the Azerbaijani champions a perfect six points from their opening two matches.
Qarabağ will continue their campaign with an away fixture against Spain’s Athletic Club de Bilbao on October 22.
