Sharm el-Sheikh, October 14, 2025 – The Europe Today: United States President Donald Trump, along with several regional leaders, on Monday signed a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas during a high-level summit held in the Egyptian Red Sea city of Sharm el-Sheikh, according to media reports.
The historic accord was signed by Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in addition to President Trump.
While representatives of Israel and Hamas were not present at the ceremony, reports indicate that President Trump had previously visited Israel, where he also signed the agreement.
