Beijing, October 22, 2025 – The Europe Today: Today, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), visited the Institute for Community with Shared Future (ICSF), Communication University of China (CUC) in Beijing, China. Prof. Li Huailiang, Dean of ICSF at CUC, welcomed Mr. Khalid Taimur and met with him alongside the ICSF management team.
The meeting was notably attended by Prof. Zhang Yanqiu, Deputy Dean of ICSF, CUC, Beijing, Prof. Liu Fenghai, Deputy Dean of ICSF, CUC, Beijing, Prof. Wen Chunying, Deputy Dean of ICSF, CUC, Beijing, China, and Dr. Ge Yanling, Section Chief of the Office of ICSF, CUC, Beijing, China.
During the meeting, Prof. Li Huailiang expressed sincere appreciation for Mr. Akram’s significant contributions to championing the concept of a community with a shared future, as envisioned by President Xi Jinping. He acknowledged Mr. Akram’s remarkable efforts in influencing the global academic community’s support for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Prof. Li also commended PRCCSF’s pivotal role in promoting regional connectivity and fostering win-win cooperation, highlighting their contributions to enhancing economic integration and cultural exchange for regional progress and prosperity.
The discussion highlighted opportunities for future research cooperation in 2026, including joint seminars, workshops, and conferences aimed at promoting cross-cultural understanding and sharing best practices among scholars from diverse backgrounds.
