Baku, November 01, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan places special importance on fostering intercultural and interreligious dialogue, with the internationally recognized “Baku Process” serving as a successful example of its efforts in this direction, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated during his address at the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Minister Bayramov emphasized that Azerbaijan’s cooperation with UNESCO is grounded in shared values and commitments to the promotion of cultural heritage, diversity, inclusive education, scientific advancement, and global solidarity.
He further noted that as a donor state, Azerbaijan actively supports UNESCO-led initiatives across key sectors, including culture, science, youth empowerment, and intercultural dialogue, reaffirming the country’s dedication to advancing mutual understanding and sustainable development through international partnership.
