Ashgabat, November 20, 2025 – The Europe Today: On November 19, 2025, Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Feridun Sinirlioglu, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), to discuss priority areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
During the conversation, both sides highlighted the stable dynamics of interaction and the constructive nature of the partnership between Turkmenistan and the OSCE.
The discussion focused on the importance of coordinating efforts in the international arena and addressed key issues aimed at further strengthening peace, security, and sustainable development. The parties also underscored the significant role of Turkmenistan’s policy of positive neutrality in supporting these objectives at both regional and global levels.
Special attention was given to preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to be held on December 12, 2025, in Ashgabat, which is expected to serve as a platform for advancing dialogue and cooperation on issues of security and stability.
