Baku, November 24, 2025 – The Europe Today: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, participated in the inauguration of a newly developed park in the Gobustan settlement of Baku’s Garadagh district.
Located along the 60th kilometer of the Baku–Gazakh highway, the recreational area covers a total of 10,350 square meters. The park has been designed to provide residents with a modern, healthy, and comfortable environment, featuring extensive landscaping aimed at enhancing the quality of life in the locality.
As part of the landscaping efforts, various species of trees, shrubs, and flowers were planted throughout the park. To ensure a family-friendly atmosphere, gazebos and children’s playgrounds have been installed, offering safe and engaging spaces for young visitors.
During the event, Leyla Aliyeva and IDEA volunteers participated in a special tree-planting campaign, planting cypress trees in designated areas of the park to further enrich its green spaces.
Leyla Aliyeva also presented toys to children gathered at the park and posed for commemorative photographs with them, marking the occasion as a joyful community event.
