Ankara, November 28, 2025 – The Europe Today: Khalaf Khalafov, Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, held a series of meetings in Ankara with senior Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Chief Presidential Adviser Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Deputy Foreign Minister Berris Ekinci.
The discussions reviewed the history and future prospects of the brotherly Azerbaijan–Türkiye relations, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation across all areas at both regional and global levels.
The meetings also addressed issues related to Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), including ongoing efforts to transform CICA into a full-fledged international organization.
In addition, the sides exchanged views on other regional and international matters of shared interest, reaffirming the commitment to deepening strategic partnership and multilateral collaboration.
