Dubai, November 28, 2025 – The Europe Today: A high-level delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Minister of Construction and Architecture Abdulla Geldiyev, participated in the international exhibition and conference Big 5 Global 2025, held in Dubai from 24 to 27 November 2025.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation underscored the country’s growing role as a strategic partner in construction and infrastructure development. The forum, which brought together global leaders in construction, engineering, and urban development, provided a platform for Turkmenistan to present key national initiatives aimed at promoting advanced technologies and enhancing sectoral efficiency.
On the second day of the event, Minister Abdulla Geldiyev delivered a keynote address titled “Strategy for Sustainable Urban Development and Infrastructure Modernization in Turkmenistan.” In his speech, he outlined the nation’s strategic vision for creating modern, sustainable, and environmentally friendly urban spaces. He also highlighted priorities for national infrastructure modernization, digital transformation, and the adoption of innovative, energy-efficient solutions.
During the forum, the Turkmen delegation held a series of bilateral meetings with prominent figures including Yusuf Abdullah Al Ali, Assistant to the Deputy Minister for Federal Infrastructure and Projects of the UAE, Matt Denton, President of DMG Events, Brandy Scott, Chair of the Global Leaders’ Summit, as well as representatives of leading international construction and engineering companies. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in industrial and civil construction, promoting eco-friendly building materials, advancing modular construction technologies, developing digital infrastructure and BIM platforms, and strengthening investment partnerships for strategic projects.
Special attention was given to enhancing trade and industrial cooperation, including the supply of Turkmen glass and modern construction materials to the UAE and Gulf markets. The delegation emphasized national priorities such as modernizing the construction and industrial sectors, implementing digital quality control systems, developing transport and engineering infrastructure, establishing social facilities, and expanding the export capacity of the glass industry.
The event reinforced Turkmenistan’s commitment to sustainable development, international cooperation, and the modernization of its construction and infrastructure sectors.
