Belarus

Ashgabat, December 5, 2025 – The Europe Today: Turkmenistan and Belarus have reiterated their commitment to strengthening cooperation between the business communities of both countries, with a focus on enhancing trade, transport, and communication links.

According to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, the matter was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for the Transport and Communications Complex, Mammethan Chakiyev, and Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan, Stanislav Chepurny.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed ongoing collaboration in the transport and communications sector, assessed the current state of bilateral trade and economic relations, and explored future prospects. They also discussed preparations for the upcoming session of the Turkmenistan–Belarus Intergovernmental Commission.

In a related development, Turkmen and Belarusian companies reached an agreement in May to sign contracts for the supply of high-quality fresh vegetables and fruits to Belarus, marking a practical step toward bolstering trade turnover between the two nations.
