Riyadh, December 15, 2025 – The Europe Today: The Group of Friends High-Level Meeting of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) was held on 14 December as part of the 11th Global Forum of UNAOC in Riyadh.
In his address, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli highlighted Azerbaijan’s long-standing tradition of tolerance and underscored the importance of promoting intercultural dialogue, protecting multicultural values, and leveraging cultural diplomacy to strengthen international cooperation.
Minister Karimli expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the event and described UNAOC as a landmark international platform for fostering global dialogue and mutual understanding.
He also highlighted Azerbaijan’s initiatives to advance interfaith dialogue through ongoing cooperation with UNAOC, emphasizing the country’s commitment to building bridges between cultures and faiths.
