Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Attends Gala Dinner at Akasaka Palace in Tokyo

Tokyo, December 20, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended an official gala dinner at Akasaka Palace in Tokyo, hosted by Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in honor of the heads of state of Central Asia.

During his ongoing working visit to the Japanese capital, President Berdimuhamedov held a series of high-level meetings with representatives of the Japanese parliament, leaders of major Japanese companies, and the Emperor of Japan.

Following these engagements, the Turkmen President’s motorcade arrived at Akasaka Palace, where he was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Takaichi at the palace entrance.

The gala dinner provided an opportunity to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Turkmenistan, Japan, and other Central Asian nations, reflecting the commitment of both countries to deepening regional cooperation.

President Berdimuhamedov’s working visit to Japan continues, with further meetings and discussions scheduled to advance bilateral and regional cooperation initiatives.
