Baku, December 26, 2025 – The Europe Today: On December 25, Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, met with Vladanka Andreeva, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the completion of her mission in the country.
During the meeting, Bahar Muradova highlighted Azerbaijan’s strong commitment to cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies. She emphasized that collaboration with the UN in protecting the rights of women and children has played a significant role in advancing Azerbaijan’s social welfare policies.
Vladanka Andreeva, in turn, underscored the value of the experience she gained in Azerbaijan for her future work and praised the Azerbaijan–UN partnership. She expressed gratitude for the support and collaboration extended to her during her tenure in the country.
The discussion also covered the “Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for 2026–2030,” recently signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations, aimed at strengthening joint efforts in achieving sustainable development goals.
