President Tokayev Approves “Unity in Diversity” Concept for People’s Assembly Development Till 2030

Astana, December 29, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree approving the Concept of Development of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan till 2030, titled “Unity in Diversity,” according to the Akorda press service.

The Concept is aimed at the further development of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan, taking into account new principles and approaches to strengthening social cohesion, ensuring public harmony, and reinforcing nationwide unity. It outlines strategic priorities to enhance the Assembly’s role in promoting interethnic accord, civic identity, and inclusive dialogue in line with Kazakhstan’s evolving social and political landscape.

The document emphasizes the importance of unity based on cultural diversity as a key foundation for sustainable development and social stability, while also aligning the Assembly’s activities with long-term national development goals through 2030.

Earlier, on April 24, President Tokayev addressed the 34th session of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan in Astana, where he highlighted the Assembly’s continued significance in consolidating society and safeguarding harmony and mutual respect among all ethnic groups in the country.
