Tehran, December 30, 2025 – The Europe Today: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Monday emphasised the importance of strengthening comprehensive relations with Tajikistan, highlighting shared cultural and linguistic ties as a foundation for deeper cooperation.
Araghchi made the remarks during a meeting with Iran’s ambassador to Tajikistan, Alireza Haghighian. The two officials reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and discussed avenues to expand cooperation between Tehran and Dushanbe across various sectors.
Noting Iran’s priority to develop relations with like-minded and culturally aligned countries, the Foreign Minister stressed the significance of continued consultations and coordinated efforts to further advance ties with Tajikistan.
