Astana, January 9, 2026 – The Europe Today: First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the United States of America, Julie Stufft, the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further expanding the enhanced strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States. They exchanged views on strengthening cooperation across areas of mutual interest and advancing practical engagement.
Following the talks, both sides reaffirmed their readiness for constructive cooperation and agreed to maintain regular dialogue to further develop Kazakhstan–US relations.
