Washington, January 15, 2026 – The Europe Today: The United States will continue to closely monitor developments in Iran, President Donald Trump said, commenting on the possibility of U.S. use of force against the country, according to media reports.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said, “We’re going to watch and see what the process is. But we were given a very good, very good statement by people that are aware of what’s going on.”
Addressing reports of executions in Iran, he added, “They say no executions. Everyone is talking a lot of executions were taking place today, we were just told, no executions. I hope that’s true. That’s a big thing.”
