Ashgabat, January 30, 2026 – The Europe Today: New administrative and residential facilities for law enforcement personnel were inaugurated in Mary and Tejen ahead of the Defender of the Fatherland Day celebrations, local media reported Thursday.
In Mary, authorities opened an administrative complex and a residential building for the regional branch of the Ministry of National Security. Additionally, a four-story apartment building with 24 units was inaugurated for police officers serving under the provincial Interior Ministry, according to the newspaper Maru — şahu jahan.
In Tejen, a modern administrative building for the Ahal province branch of the State Migration Service was officially opened. The facility is equipped with computers and other advanced work resources. The opening ceremony was attended by military personnel, members of the Mejlis, representatives of public organizations, builders, and other guests, as reported by Ahal durmuşy.
Similar facilities were inaugurated in other regions of Turkmenistan, including a new phase of the cottage complex for Interior Ministry families in Ashgabat named after Malikguly Berdimuhamedov; a complex of military buildings in Sayat district; an administrative building for the prosecutor’s office in Esenguly; and a four-story residential building in Etrek.
These developments form part of ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and living conditions for personnel serving in Turkmenistan’s law enforcement and security agencies.
