Baku, February 5, 2026 — The Europe Today: A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the World Governments Summit, held from February 3 to 5.
Speaking at a roundtable on the margins of the Summit, which brought together officials from 20 countries, Mehdiyev presented the ASAN Khidmet model, highlighting the Agency’s achievements on a global scale. He described ASAN Khidmet, initiated by President Ilham Aliyev, as a successful and exemplary innovation in public service delivery.
During the Summit, the Azerbaijani delegation also conducted bilateral meetings with officials from Colombia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Gambia to explore opportunities for cooperation in the field of public services.
The participation underscores Azerbaijan’s commitment to sharing its public service innovations internationally and strengthening collaborative ties with governments worldwide.
