Turkmenbashi, February 12, 2026 – The Europe Today: A new industrial training center has commenced operations in the city of Turkmenbashi, marking a significant step toward strengthening workforce capacity in Turkmenistan’s key industrial sectors.
The facility, established by the private enterprise Tehnologiýalar binasy, is located at 36 G. Saparov Street and is dedicated to providing specialized training for professionals in the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, and chemical industries.
Training programs at the center are conducted in accordance with the requirements of Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and international standards, including those set by OPITO, IPSQA, and International Organization for Standardization.
The center offers specialist instruction in several critical areas, including emergency response procedures in the event of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) gas releases; safe entry and work practices in confined spaces during oil and gas processing, production, and construction; first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); working at heights and emergency rescue operations; and Level II non-destructive testing for industrial applications.
Officials stated that the primary objective of the training center is to promote a strong culture of industrial safety while enhancing practical skills in line with globally recognized standards. The initiative is expected to contribute to professional development and support the long-term growth and sustainability of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector.
