Ashgabat, February 19, 2026 – The Europe Today:Turkmenistan’s capital will host the Turkmenistan–European Union business forum titled “New Horizons for Connectivity and Sustainable Growth” on March 26, 2026, at the Ýyldyz Hotel, the International Trade Centre announced.
The forum is jointly organized by the European Union and the Government of Turkmenistan in partnership with the International Trade Centre, reflecting growing engagement between the two sides in trade and investment cooperation.
Focus on Connectivity and Global Gateway Priorities
The event aims to strengthen trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and the European Union, with discussions centered on the priorities of the EU’s Global Gateway initiative in Turkmenistan.
Key sectors on the agenda include:
- Transport connectivity
- Logistics and infrastructure development
- Energy cooperation
- Sustainable growth and green transition
The forum is expected to serve as a platform for dialogue on enhancing regional and intercontinental connectivity, while promoting sustainable economic development.
Broad Participation and Business Engagement
Participants will include representatives of relevant government institutions, members of the business communities from Turkmenistan and EU countries, as well as international financial institutions and development organizations.
The program will feature dedicated B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) sessions aimed at fostering direct partnerships, facilitating investment discussions, and exploring sector-specific cooperation opportunities.
