Islamabad, February 24, 2026 – The Europe Today: Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar held a meeting with the newly elected members of various bar associations from across the Rawalpindi Division to discuss professional and administrative matters concerning the legal community, Global News Pakistan reported.
The meeting was also attended by Barrister Aqeel Malik, Minister of State for Law and Justice.
During the session, issues pertaining to each bar association were taken up individually and deliberated in detail. The newly elected representatives briefed the Federal Minister on the professional, administrative, and facility-related challenges faced by their respective bar associations, while outlining their priorities for the upcoming term.
Senator Tarar listened attentively to the concerns raised by the bar leaders and assured them that the issues of each association would be addressed on a priority basis. He emphasized that, in coordination with the provincial government and relevant authorities, practical and sustainable measures would be adopted to enhance institutional support and improve facilities for the legal fraternity.
Minister of State Barrister Aqeel Malik reiterated the Government’s commitment to maintaining strong coordination and full cooperation with the lawyers’ community. He stressed the importance of continued engagement and collaboration to further strengthen Pakistan’s justice system and uphold the rule of law.
