U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi Summoned to New Congressional Hearing Over Epstein Documents

Pam Bondi

Washington, March 5, 2026 – The Europe Today: U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is set to face a new congressional hearing over the handling and release of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, according to media reports.

The move comes after criticism from lawmakers regarding the Justice Department’s management of records connected to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Republican Representative Nancy Mace announced on social media platform X that she has proposed calling Bondi to testify before the House Oversight Committee. “Attorney General Bondi claims the Justice Department has released all Epstein documents. The record is clear: they have not,” Mace wrote.

Several lawmakers from both the Republican and Democratic parties have voiced concerns about the transparency of the investigation and the release of related materials.

Mace described the case as “one of the biggest cover-ups in American history,” emphasizing the need for greater accountability and disclosure from federal authorities.

Bondi had previously appeared before the same congressional committee in February, where she was questioned about the Justice Department’s handling of the Epstein investigation.

The upcoming hearing is expected to focus on the status of the remaining documents and whether all relevant materials related to the Epstein case have been made public.
