Ashgabat, March 12, 2026 – The Europe Today: Turkmenistan’s national postal service company Türkmenpoçta is working to launch new services aimed at organizing the delivery of goods purchased from major international e-commerce platforms to Turkmenistan, according to a report by Turkmentelecom.
The initiative is designed to enable customers in the country to receive items ordered from global online marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Rakuten, Wildberries, as well as platforms such as Omniva, Adex, and Internet Resheniya.
To support the initiative, Türkmenpoçta has been integrated with the digital systems of the Universal Postal Union, including the International Postal System (IPS) and the Customs Declaration System (CDS). These systems enable electronic data exchange, real-time tracking of international postal shipments, and the digitalization of postal services.
The integration is expected to enhance the reliability and efficiency of international mail deliveries, automate logistics operations, improve customer services, and facilitate the secure exchange of large volumes of data.
Türkmenpoçta is also continuing efforts to expand cooperation with foreign partners, strengthen logistics capabilities, and introduce modern e-commerce and postal delivery solutions.
Turkmenistan’s postal operator has been a member of the Universal Postal Union since 1993 and currently maintains multilateral cooperation with 192 foreign postal operators worldwide.
