Islamabad, March 14, 2026 – The Europe Today/GNP: The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has completed trials to select the national team that will represent Pakistan at the ITF Asia 12 & Under Team Competition – South Asia Regional Qualifying Event 2026, scheduled to take place in Kathmandu, Nepal, from April 11 to April 18, 2026.
According to PTF officials, the selection trials were held from March 9 to March 11, 2026, at the PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad. A total of eight boys and five girls were invited to participate in the trials based on their national rankings and recent performances in domestic competitions.
Following the trials, the federation finalized the national squads for both the boys’ and girls’ teams.
Boys Team:

- M. Ibraheem Hussain Gill (Reserve)
Girls Team:
- Shahnoor Umer
- Shahreen Umer
- Wajeeha Fatima
- Dua Yousaf Qureshi (Reserve)
The President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation and the Secretary General of PTF congratulated the selected players and extended their best wishes for the upcoming tournament. They expressed confidence that the young athletes would represent Pakistan with distinction and wished them continued success in their sporting careers.
