Islamabad, March 17, 2026 – The Europe Today/GNP: Maroof International Hospital, in collaboration with the Health, Civil Administration and Police Committee of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), hosted a distinguished Iftar dinner at the Diplomatic Enclave, bringing together members of the diplomatic corps, government representatives, law enforcement officials and civil society.
The gathering highlighted Maroof International Hospital’s commitment to excellence in healthcare, community engagement and fostering dialogue across different sectors of society.
Among the prominent attendees were Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, along with other senior officials. Diplomats from several countries also participated in the event, including ambassadors from Austria, Iran, Lebanon, Philippines, Syria, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Azerbaijan.
Senior representatives from international organisations and several countries also attended, including officials from the United Nations and the International Organization for Migration, as well as diplomatic representatives from Germany, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Yemen and Nigeria.
Speaking on the occasion, Haroon Naseer said the gathering reflected the spirit of unity and understanding fostered during the holy month of Ramadan.
“We believe that breaking bread together is more than tradition—it is a bridge of understanding, compassion and unity that strengthens communities and nations alike. This Iftar exemplifies our mission to lead in healthcare, foster dialogue and create meaningful social impact,” he said.
The event served as an opportunity for participants to engage in meaningful discussions, strengthen professional and diplomatic ties, and reaffirm the importance of collaboration in advancing healthcare and social wellbeing.
