Islamabad, March 23, 2026 – The Europe Today: His Excellency Dan Stoenescu has extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan, both at home and abroad, on the occasion of Pakistan Day, reaffirming Romania’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through cultural diplomacy.
In his message marking March 23, the Ambassador announced a unique cultural initiative by Romania, presenting— for the first time— a choral arrangement of Pakistan’s National Anthem along with its official musical score.
The special tribute has been prepared by the renowned Romanian National Chamber Choir “Madrigal – Marin Constantin,” with the support of the Embassy of Romania in Islamabad, as a gesture of respect and friendship towards Pakistan and its people.
H.E. Dan Stoenescu expressed pride in bringing this historic cultural project to fruition, noting that such initiatives play a vital role in further enhancing ties between the two nations.
He emphasized that culture and music serve as powerful tools to build bridges of friendship, fostering shared values such as mutual respect, harmony, and artistic excellence.
