Islamabad, April 3, 2026 – The Europe Today: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Atadjan Movlamov, held a meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Faryal Leghari, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors.
During the meeting, both sides conducted a comprehensive review of the current state of Pakistan-Turkmenistan relations and deliberated on future prospects of collaboration in areas of mutual interest. The discussions placed particular emphasis on intensifying political dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, and advancing joint initiatives in infrastructure and energy.
The two diplomats underscored the importance of deepening economic connectivity and fostering closer engagement between the business communities of both countries. In this regard, they explored opportunities to organize industrial and agricultural exhibitions in Turkmenistan and Pakistan in 2026, aimed at promoting investment, trade partnerships, and knowledge exchange.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of Pakistan and Turkmenistan to further strengthen their longstanding ties through enhanced cooperation and mutually beneficial initiatives across diverse sectors.
