Islamabad, April 9, 2026 – The Europe Today: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has commended Pakistan’s diplomatic initiative aimed at resolving the ongoing Gulf conflict, lauding Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his leadership in efforts to end hostilities, according to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office.
During a telephone conversation, President Erdoğan congratulated Prime Minister Sharif on what he described as a “historic initiative” to de-escalate tensions in the region.
