Armenian Forces Open Fire on Azerbaijani Positions in Nakhchivan

Baku, August 19, 2024, The Europe Today: On the evening of August 18, at approximately 7:30 p.m., units of the Armenian armed forces reportedly opened fire on positions held by the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Lekatag settlement in the Julfa district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. This incident was confirmed through NHC and press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

In response to the attack, the Azerbaijani Army took what the Ministry described as “adequate response measures” to address the situation in the affected area.
