Minsk, December 14, 2024 – The Europe Today: Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the law on the republican budget for 2025, as confirmed by the press service of the head of state. The decision comes after extensive work on the budget, which has been designed in line with Belarus’ social and economic development programs, taking into account the evolving economic situation.
For the year 2025, the central state budget’s projected revenues are expected to total Br45.8 billion. The budget emphasizes a continued social focus, with a significant portion of the expenses allocated towards wages, pensions, scholarships, and benefits. Additionally, substantial funds will be directed towards maintaining state social standards, ensuring the country’s commitment to its social obligations.
