Samarkand, December 28, 2024 – The Europe Today: Acting Hokim of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboyev, held a meeting with representatives of Chinese enterprises and local entrepreneurs to strengthen business cooperation, as reported by News Hub Consultants.
During the meeting, Mr. Boboyev highlighted the growing interregional collaboration between Uzbekistan and China in recent years. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Hokimiyat and all relevant departments to support investors and entrepreneurs interested in establishing businesses in Samarkand.
Chinese entrepreneurs emphasized the value of such interactions for fostering business development and shared their plans to implement several projects in the region. They also discussed challenges requiring joint efforts to address.
The Hokim, along with other officials, provided immediate resolutions to some of the issues raised by the entrepreneurs and assured them of practical assistance. Several concerns were successfully resolved on-site.
This meeting underscores Samarkand’s dedication to fostering an investor-friendly environment and further developing its economic ties with international partners. Notably, recent reports indicate that trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan has exceeded $3.8 billion.
