Ashgabat – New Phase of Housing Complex for Turkmen Interior Ministry Opens

Ashgabat, January 27, 2026 – The Europe Today: The next phase of the housing complex named after Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan has been inaugurated in the capital, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s official media reported on Monday.

The newly opened phase comprises 56 five-room apartments designed to accommodate large families. All residential units are fully furnished and equipped with modern household appliances to ensure comfortable living conditions.

On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, residents of the new apartments were presented with commemorative gifts.

The opening forms part of a series of infrastructure projects commissioned nationwide ahead of Defender of the Fatherland Day. In addition to the housing complex, new military facilities were inaugurated in the Sayat district, an administrative building for the Esenguly district prosecutor’s office was opened, and a four-story residential building was commissioned in the Etrek district.
